Drowning...

This is kind of the look that I'm going for with my text pages. This  the 'drowning in the sea' spread.  I want the element of time (clock in upper corner) to be present somewhere on every page bc one of the themes is the passing of time- the greenish on the bottom of the right hand page is to mimic the sea/seaweed feel....

these are images that JR took for me- I am thankful.  I plan to have a black and white image on vellum and then the next page would be a color page.  I'm going to have an awesome student photographer (thanks Dan and Adam) to take photos for me and hopefully they are a bit cooler and I'd like them to be even bigger in scopes if that makes sense.

As I explained on facebook, this is somewhat of a rough draft. I want to make the man on the table out of sculpey and the hotel as well...possibly the street- and the text will be hand rendered but similar to this style and it will have texture of a sort...

This first image is going to be interactive- it is like an 'invitation' - let us go you and I...

The next 3 pages  will have cut outs showing first - the patient eitherised on a table and then- the nights in cheap hotels and then- it will be the whole page showing all of these things...

This I'm planning to make a pop up- not this typeface of course and I'll have to look into how to actually do this!

I want the women to actually 'come and go' from side to side....

and again with the side to side...  it is repetitive but that's the point- diff day same shit

I want to make it where he actually moves up and down on the stairs or at least turns to change his mind...

I want to have the letters puffed plastic with coffee grinds inside....

and he will wriggle on a 'pin'

and the smoke will rise from the stack...

 The image below will be of a lantern- I want it to actually light up....

mermaids singing- I'd love for them to actually sing like on those cards...

I want this last page to be a 3d look of a face in that 'fake water' stuff ....
